FOX 50s Gimme the Mike! Announces 25 Contestants |
FOX
50 (WRAZ-TV) is pleased to announce the 25 contestants for FOX 50s Gimme
the Mike! The 25 contestants were selected by the producers from among
700 hopefuls who showed up at open auditions held the first weekend in
April at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh and Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville.
Many singers camped out and lined up as early as 4:00a.m. for a chance
to audition for the local TV competition show.
All 25 contestants will be vying for the grand prize package that includes an all expense paid trip to New York for a guaranteed audition with record executives from Sony, BMG and Universal Music, a free demo from Osceola Studios in Raleigh and singing the National Anthem at a Durham Bulls ballgame.

FOX 50s Gimme the Mike! premieres Wednesday, June 2 @ 7:30pm on FOX 50. The show will culminate in a 1 hour live finale Wednesday, July 7 @ 8:00pm.
