WRAL Documentary Tackles Children's Weight Issues

Super-sizing Our Kids: NC's Epidemic of Overweight Children, a WRAL For the Children documentary, airs Tuesday, May 27, 7:30-8pm. This locally produced special is hosted by WRAL news anchor, Pam Saulsby, and is shot and produced in high definition television. It will air in standard definition on WRAL-TV and WRAL NewsChannel and in high definition on WRAL Digital.

This half hour special includes personal stories from several overweight children who are striving, along with their parents, to improve their health by making lifestyle changes. Many NC health experts discuss the child obesity problem and offer solutions throughout the program.
