WRAL To Feature Hurricanes Hockey on News Special "Storm Surge: Quest For The Cup" on WRAL Tonight

The Triangle is united behind the Carolina Hurricanes in their quest to win the Stanley Cup, and WRAL-TV is taking the opportunity to feature the 'Canes in a special program. "Storm Surge: Quest For The Cup" will air tonight, Monday, June 3, 2002, at 7:30pm.

The half-hour WRAL News presentation will provide a look back at the Hurricanes season and a look ahead at the Stanley Cup finals. The finals begin Tuesday, June 4.

WRAL Sports Anchor Tom Suiter and News Anchor Debra Morgan will share hosting duties for the program executive produced by WRAL's Randall Kerr.

WRAL is also providing special coverage on its NewsChannel. Post-game News Conferences will be carried on WRAL's NewsChannel, as they were for the semi-final games. WRAL's NewsChannel can be accessed on Time Warner's Digital Cable Channel 256, or via HD antennae on Digital Channel 53.
