WRAL-FM Ranks High In Sales

In a recent report by M-Street Daily, MIX 101.5 ranks #11 in total billing for stand-alones. WRAL-FM is a stand-alone station, meaning it belongs to a company with one radio station in a particular market.

Being #11 out of approximately 60 stations is impressive, but the term impressive changes to phenomenal when that #11 ranking follows 10 major market stand-alones. WRAL-FM, which is a 48 market, racked up $9,990,000 in sales in 1999, close on the heels of stations in major markets such as Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

The list, published by Duncan's American Radio Chart in October 2000, lists the top 20 standalones in revenue. Duncan's American Radio is a respected data source of comparative market information and publishes several different types of reports for radio stations each year.
