CBCers
Travel to Greensboro for Hurricanes Home Opener
CBCers
from all Raleigh divisions boarded a bus Friday, October 3rd headed
for Greensboro to see the Carolina Hurricanes take the ice in their
home opener against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The bus pulled into Greensboro at little after 6:00, leaving plenty
of time to check out the coliseum, eat some food and find our seats
before the first puck was dropped at 7:30. Durham Bulls employees Tammie
Weiss, Gillian Zucker, Mike Davis and Anna Maynard anxiously await the
start of the game.
In the end the Penguins were just a little better than the Hurricanes
on opening night. The Hurricanes went down in defeat 4-3. For many CBCers
on the trip this was their first time at an NHL game. Everyone had a
great time.
